Update on GreenCap Solution's projects

GreenCap Solutions is a company that absorbs CO2 from the outside air and transports it into the greenhouse with the help of zeolites. Below is an update of their current projects.

Lauvsnes Gartneri
Lauvsnes Gartneri is their first commercial project, where they redesign the full production area of 22.800 m² into a closed-loop environment with ECS technology to ensure year-round tomato production. The project was initiated in Q1 2021 and final approval from the local authorities regarding the installation was received at the end of Q2, with entrepreneurs starting work in August.

The project is progressing according to schedule and phase one will be completed by year-end. The area will be fully operational for the first production of tomatoes in spring 2022. Phase two, replacing the current source of natural gas supply with green CO2 from DAC, will be completed by the first half of 2022.

Meråker Grønt 
Meråker Grønt is their second commercial project and consists of converting the existing production area (retrofit) as well as the new-build production area (greenfield), installing both our developed technologies (ECS and DAC) for year-round production.

The contract with the customer was finalized in late Q2 and the project was launched in July. The project delivery is split into two phases (as for the Lauvsnes Gartneri project), in which phase one of the closed-loop growing system (ECS) is scheduled to be operational by end of the first half of 2022, and phase two of the project, which consists of replacing the current propane source for CO2, is to be installed in the second half of 2022.
